A man has been arrested for making over 58,000 false reports to the 112 emergency hotline in the span of a year, police said on Tuesday, following a series of similar behaviors.
In Dangjin, South Chungcheong, a man called 51 times in six hours beginning at 7:14 a.m. on Monday, saying that he is "Army Sergeant Yang" and he "is engaging in prostitution in a coffee shop."
False news is more hazardous than fake news, and there is no protection against the former.
